Are we giving ... or robbing?

We show up in such a big way. And though we can chastise ourselves for overgiving, the actual fact is that at some level we feel powerful—that we have enough energy and wisdom within us to “feed that masses.”

By the way, we’re correct about our being powerful. But … do we give others the message that THEY are powerful too? Do we interact with them in a way that lets them know we have full faith in their ability to thrive in their own lives?

We want to relieve the ones we love of pain and discomfort—often the very type of distress we’ve experienced on our personal journeys. Is it possible to do so without making a grand assumption that their journeys are just like ours?

Because, while there may be similarities, genetic and otherwise, their paths are unequivocally their own.
